La stratégie Beta vise à attribuer à chaque cylindrée un caractère bien distinct de manière à répondre aux exigences et aux attentes spécifiques de chaque pilote d' tenu des dimensions du moteur et du poids contenus, la dernière-née, la RR 200 2T, hérite, de la partie cycle de la 125. Le cadre en acier au chrome molybdène, doté d’une structure à berceau dédoublé, a été conçu pour les petites cylindrées en modifiant les dimensions principales et en garantissant un positionnement optimal du moteur.
